Okay so I have been eating quest bars for a while and I love them. My personal favorites are the mint chocolate chunk, oatmeal chocolate chip, cookies and cream, s'mores and I love the newest flavor, blueberry muffin. So first off, the macros on quest bars are great. They are high in protein and low in carbs and fat. They are a great meal replacement bar or post and pre workout snacks. I don't eat them every day but I love to have one when I am busy working and I am starving. It is a great way to fill up quickly and feel like you're indulging too.

One thing I will saw is the texture depends on where you get them. If they sell them at your local grocery store, I notice that they are usually not as good when it comes to texture. I think it is because they could have been sitting for a long time. My best results as far as texture are when I buy them online or from a nutrition store like Vitamin Shoppe. If you know me, you know I am not a big fan of GNC. They are extremely overpriced and even their member pricing is higher than most places regular prices. You should be paying about $25 for a box of 12 bars. I usually order online and that is the cheapest way I have found and when you order from Quest I think they are the freshest.

As far as the flavors I am not a fan of, the lemon cream pie, white chocolate raspberry, mixed berry, strawberry cheesecake, pb&j and double chocolate chunk are ones I would steer clear from. I personally was just not at all impressed with the flavor on these. I have yet to try banana nut, coconut cashew, peanut butter supreme, or apple pie. I find that most things that are flavored to be banana or coconut tend to be awful. So that is why I haven't tried them. As for the peanut butter supreme, I would rather just eat peanut butter. And I just have no interest in trying apple pie, haha. I tend to stick to the ones I mentioned earlier. I do like the vanilla almond crunch, brownie, chocolate chip cookie dough, and cinnamon roll but not as much as the other ones.

Overall I really like these. Their bars are made with high quality whey protein, gluten and soy free, and they have no added sugar. If you look at a lot of "health bars" that you see at the store, a lot of them are made with soy protein and have ridiculous amounts of sugar. They will look like an innocent little snack bar but they can kill your macros. The other thing is that these are more like meal replacement bars or if you are body building and you need the extra protein etc. This isn't exactly a snack and it will fill you up more than you think. But I love to take them with me on trips to avoid eating things I shouldn't eat and keep me full.
